Nancy Gleason (Hansen)

Smithfield-Nancy Ann Gleason Hansen, 48 of Smithfield, died Monday, July 27 1992 at her home.

She was born born Febuary 10 1944 in Logan, a daughter of Ralph Grover and Faye Alger Gleason. She married Lenard Hansen on August 22 1963, in Logan. They were later divorced.

She lived in Garland and graduated from Bear River High School and had attended Utah State University. She had also lived in Logan, Smithfield, Pocatello, and Ontario Oregon.

She was a senior secretery at Utah State University and had been employee of the month at USU School Relations Department. She was a member of the LDS Church and had served in the Smithfield Young Women's Presidency and in various other positions in the 4th Ward.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Chad James and Heather Hansen, Denver, Colorado and Casey Val Hansen, New Meadows, Idaho, one grandson, her parents Ralph and Faye Gleason, North Logan; one brother, Tim Gleason, Syracuse, and three sisters; Kris Gleason Fuquay, Logan; Julie Gleason McBride, Grantsville, and Janette Gleason Wright, Smithfield. She was preceded in death by one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 1992, in Smithfield 4th Ward chapel with Bishop Perry H. Crossley conducting.

Friends may call at Nelson Funeral Home in Smithfield, 85 S. Main, Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and at the church on Thursday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Smithfield Cemetery
