You may want to know that Jim stepped on a land mine the day before returning to the states.

On a lighter note, he saved me at 6 am one morning as I was hitching a ride from Corinne to Promontory after a Box Elder High prom.  He took me clear home.  What a nice guy.

James was one of the most pleasant people of our class. I never knew when he wasn't happy or up-beat. It is so nice to be reminded of him. Merry Christmas, James (the same to all of our classmates).

I also remember James, we had homemaking together for at least one class, and what a riot, he was so fun to be around.  I got on the school bus in Bothwell and so I rode the bus with him to school,  and his dad was our driver. .  Good memories.  Merry Christmas to all as Jay said so I second it.

I was at a New Years Eve party 12/31/2023.  A person there mentioned  living in Ohio in the 1960s and attending a struggling church branch that was more or less held together by a missionay from Tremondon.  Missionary was Jim Jensen.  The members were devastated when he was killed in Viet Nam.

Thank you Doug and the rest.  It's so good to learn more about Jim.  I rode his bus, too; and had seminary with him.
