Sandra was always a fun, and  spunky lady.  I would see her at the Farmers Market all of the time and we would chat about the good ol' days  at Bear River High.  I used to help her take her canopy down at the end of the  day from selling her pies.  I used to see her at Costco all of the time when she would be there to buy supplies for making her pies and I would sneak up behind her and start singing our Bear River school song,  she would turn around with a supprised look on her face and she would say "oh youuuu".

Oh Boy, how do you describe Sandra Nalder!!  I enjoyed her so much through high school.  You never had to wonder where you stood with her and she told you exactly what she thought.  Never minced words or worried if you liked what you were hearing.  Such an honest, trustworthy friend!!  Hard to say that about a lot of people.

She was an amazing horsewoman, mom, grandma, friend, rodeo queen and in her way accomplished much more than most.  Being known as the famous pie lady of Ogden was something she was very proud of!  By the way, the pies were delicious and every kind you would want.

She fought cancer for many, many, many years and won a lot of the battles and I would say she also won the war!!  We visited Sandra and she was sharp as a tack, still had her sense of humor and we laughed at a lot of the memories we had.  It was so good to visit with her, tell her we loved her, laugh with her and get to say to her "we'll see you later." She was a fighter, but I think she was really tired.  Her smile as we left was worth a million bucks and I will remember that!  It was nice to see some of her classmates at her service.  I know she appreciated and loved her family and friends very much!  Rest in Peace Dear Sandra...

What a jokester!  I remember in 8th grade art (maybe the only class we shared) that she whispered a joke to me.  I went beet red and Miss Minton looked up.  Fortunately, Miss Minton knew whom to blame.  I'm sure if Miss Minton hadn't been such a stickler for quiet that I would have learned much more.
