Garland - Steven Lee Jensen, 59, of Garland passed away at home on the 22nd of November. He was born August 11, 1944 to Swen and Florence Jensen, in Salt Lake City.
Steve spent his childhood in Redmond Utah. He then moved to the Bear River Valley where he met and married his High School sweetheart Susan Shaffer. They made their home in Garland.

Steve served for 38 years as a member of the Garland Fire Department. He enjoyed teaching children fire safety as Bunkers the clown. He also served for many years as a Garland Reserve Police Officer.

He served in the Garland 3rd Ward Bishopric for 6 years and served as a Home Teacher.
Steve is survived by his wife Susan Jensen. Sons; Shawn (Laura) Jensen, of Tremonton, Jason Jensen, of Tremonton, and Jeremy (Cassie) Jensen, of Garland, Son in-law Steve (Karen) Hurd, of Garland, seven grandchildren; Mandie, Saje, Tyson, Carson, Jaycee, Caden, and Lexie, his Mother and Father In-law Kenneth and Lucille O. Shaffer, and one brother Bruce (JoAnn) Jensen of Salt Lake City.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Jeanette Jensen Hurd, and a Grandson Quay Jason Jensen.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday the 26th at 1:00 PM at the Garland Tabernacle. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday the 25th from 6-8 PM, and Wednesday from 11:00-12:30 at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home located at 111 North 100 East in Tremonton.
